If the Black and Whites beat St Helens on Friday they began the night par with Hull before their last fixtures and, as a consequence of this reduction, will be going on vacation on Monday.
Castleford’s ancient tactics seemed to be to choose anything they might and Jamie Ellis kicked a penalty, just for George Williams to react with a try for Wigan.
Ellis had the opportunity to kick against the Tigers in front but he missed two more penalty attempts.
Two tries in the space of three minutes out of Joe Greenwood and Zak Hardaker afterward sealed the match for the Warriors and Oliver Gildart inserted the following until Jesse Sene-Lefao found for disgracefully moving in with all the knees on Oliver Partington red.
Morgan Smithies completed the scoring for the Warriors on.

A mistake in Dan Sarginson gave 20 metres from the line of Wigan to Castleford ownership and Ellis went agonisingly close to putting his side in front following Trueman’s kick hit the post and bounced straight back to him but Hardaker was to clear his lines.
Wigan were finding it difficult to finish their sets of coughing ownership with Romain Navarrete guilty.
Greenwood made a speech to let Ellis the chance to level the scores, but he also sent his effort wide.
He had the opportunity to redeem himself as Wigan led however the article struck at.
Two attempts in three minutes that are second-half placed Wigan. Hardaker took advantage of a error by Greg Minikin to get down from his kick. He added the extras for a 10-2 lead.
Seconds Sarginson left a run to put Wigan in a good attacking position, the ball has been sent across to the left and then right Greenwood was available to touch down in the corner.
Castleford had chances but they can find no way through Wigan defence.
Their job was made harder when Sene-Lefao was sent off for going in Partington with his knees.
While Smithies dropped , before Cheyse Blair scored about the hooter for Castleford hardaker extended Wigan’s lead to 18 points with a penalty for messing up at the play-the-ball.
